The Establishment History Panel is a 50 % random sample of all establishments
in Germany with at least one employee. The new version covers the time period

The survey data of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS), Starting
Cohort 6 (SC6) survey data are collected on behalf of the Leibniz Institute
for Educational Trajectories e.V. (LIfBi) in Bamberg.
Test data for the data product 'NEPS-SC6 survey data linked to administrative
data of the IAB' (NEPS-SC6-ADIAB) is now available at the FDZ homepage.
There is no explicit test data for the survey data. If there is a data use
agreement with the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories for the NEPS
data, the download data can be merged with the (administrative) test data.

3. Error in question PA2000 (‘Trust in fellow citizens’) in PASS wave 11 in
In question PA2000 (‘Trust in fellow citizens’), a translation error occurred
in Arabic interviews, so that the endpoints of the scales in the Arabic
version of the survey instrument were reversed. This applies to all Arabic
interviews in wave 11 (954 interviews in PENDDAT). The Research Data Centre
will provide users with a valid contract for wave 1-11 with a corrected
version as soon as possible.
For the purpose of academic teaching at universities and research institutes
the Panel Study Labour Market and Social Security (PASS) is available as
absolutely anonymized version. The PASS-CF_0616_v1 consists of a 20 percent
sample of the PASS_0616_v2.

During the Christmas break, on-site access at both the Nuremberg site and at
the remote centers will not be available. This also applies to remote
execution services. However, the internal use mode of JoSuA will be active.
Advisory services will be limited.
We want to remind you that with the implementation of the JoSuA use agreements
and according to section 6 II of your use agreement, you have a reporting
obligation for employees leaving your institution or if you yourself change
employers. Please immediately inform the FDZ about the exit of employees from
your institution by e-mail.
This reporting obligation is necessary to ensure data security. Users are only
allowed to analyze our data with a valid use agreement. If you leave the
institution with which the contract was agreed upon, you are no longer allowed
to access the data. Nevertheless, it is possible that your new institution
signs a use agreement with us so that you can continue working on your
